For and Protect Sheringham Point Lighthouse
The future of Sheringham Point Lighthouse and its surrounding environment depends on us. If we want to see this treasure protected for future generations to enjoy, then we must all pull together.
The Sheringham Point Lighthouse Preservation Society is working diligently to ensure that the historic structures and the surrounding lands are looked after and conserved to the highest standards we can, and that public will continue to have access to the site. To do this effectively, we need the ongoing help and support of our community and the broader public, and we encourage everyone to get directly involved.
There are several ways for you to get involved and make a difference:

The best way to get involved is to become a MEMBER of the Sheringham Point Lighthouse Preservation Society. Our members are the foundation of our organization, and provide the support, the means and the passion to ensure that we can be successful in achieving our objectives.

Get Involved: Volunteer Your Time
Volunteers are the lifeblood of the Society, and help us keep going from day to day. As our organization evolves, there are many opportunities that arise for people to be able to get directly involved in a “hands-on” way. If you have expertise to offer, that’s great and we’d love to benefit from your talents, but your time, energy, dedication and passion are equally as important.

Special Events and Activities
From time to time, the Society creates special events or activities that provide unique opportunities for our friends and supporters to become more engaged with the Lighthouse conservation needs. Also, there are sometimes issues that crop up that require urgent or specific collective actions to address them. In these circumstances we need to call upon our supporters to help out. We have always been able to count on a positive response to such calls for action, and we hope that will continue as new issues arise.
